Hiten Bhundia
Hiten Bhundia is an artist, curator and editor. His works propagate nodes of enquiry around a fluid art practice that hybridises gestures from across borders, flowing into the confluence of a contemporary setting. The perfume of nature and the fragrance of Hindu philosophy lace his work with the mystery and sublime of the subjects themselves. Done by means of sculpture, writing, painting and publishing. He pushes and pulls against his personal motifs through research and art making.
Often bringing in the dharma and karma of life, Bhundia sees art-making as a personal act of learning and introspection, an evolving dialogue with the material and metaphysical. His pieces are poetic reflections that move between fragility and resilience, intimacy and expanse. By integrating technology, philosophy, and the floral as a symbolic language, Bhundia continues to shape a practice that challenges perceptions while actively building kinship beyond bloodlines.
