You’re Home, curated by Rushil Pandey and Hiten Bhundia, explores identity in the context of home, providing a sheltered space for conversation. Home can be understood as the place of our cultural heritage, as a place we have left and yearn to go back to, or as the place of our ancestors. For the artists in this exhibition, the idea of home is full of complexities and contradictions.

The association is carved from social and sensory nostalgia, reconsidered by political and colonial perspectives, and complemented by genealogical inquiry. The artists, by converging into a spatial intervention, inform and accelerate the coherent dialogue imbued within the works. Language is in discourse here with how we understand the global south and what it might mean to speak of “home.”
